How to Check Your Webmail

I get a lot of calls and emails on this one. I figured it might be a good ideal to type it up so everyone has their own copy. Webmail is setup so library staff can check their email when they are not in the office. It can be checked from anywhere as long as the computer you are using has an Internet connection.

Here are the steps:

1. Open a browser window, such as Internet Explorer.
2. Next type in the address http://nwls.lib.wi.us/webmail
3. This will bring you to the login page. This is where I receive the most questions. What do I enter?
4. My example email is going to be billybob@nwls.lib.wi.us. Here is how I would fill in the following:
1. Name: billybob
2. Password: (Enter your password from NWLS.)
5. You do not need to include the “@nwls.lib.wi.us” part of the address to sign in.
6. If you don’t know your password or having troubles finding it, give NWLS-IT a call.
